Showcase website for a Parisian renovation company 2025

- The customer | Luca onesim
ETCM is a Paris-based renovation company founded by Luca Onesim. Specialising in bespoke projects, interior and exterior joinery, staircases, built-in wardrobes and furniture, painting and floor coverings, the company has been working in Paris and the surrounding suburbs (Hauts-de-Seine, Yvelines, Seine-et-Marne, Val-de-Marne, Val-d'Oise) for over twenty years. ETCM regularly works with architectural practices on projects with high technical demands, such as the Voglio 8 agency.
- The context
The brief was clear: a site capable of holding its own in a Paris market saturated with «general building contractors», while promoting work that is truly top-of-the-range, with attic flats, made-to-measure mezzanines and kitchens optimised to the centimetre. The challenge was not to seduce Internet users with flashy design, but to make the building sites themselves speak for themselves.

- The approach
The design was structured around three decisions.
Photography in the lead role. On a renovation site, photography is the main selling point. The layouts have been calibrated to give site photos the space they need, with full width, breathable margins and no text overlaid on the image. The typography and interface are deliberately withdrawn to allow the materials, textures and volumes to speak for themselves.
Each project is a project in itself. Rather than a gallery of aligned images, each project is given its own story page: the initial context, the constraints (an attic flat, a cramped kitchen, a partition to be knocked down), the approach, the technical choices, the architectural partners where appropriate, and several photographs. Visitors aren't browsing through a portfolio, they're reading stories of building sites.
An assertive positioning with no empty phrases. Rather than the usual litany («passionate team, attentive listening, free quotation»), the site highlights what can be seen in the work: precision finishes, made-to-measure, dialogue with architects, twenty years' experience. The services pages are short, factual and non-commercial.

- Making it happen
The site is built using WordPress, with a system of project pages that can be extended indefinitely to include new projects. Each page follows a common editorial template: project title, context, intervention, partners, photo gallery. Adding a project requires no development work.
The structure of URLs is designed for the SEO on highly competitive sector-based queries («renovation company Paris», «made-to-measure joinery», «space optimisation»), with short service pages and in-depth realisation pages that take over in the long tail.
In terms of content, a newspaper accompanies the site with useful articles, energy renovation assistance schemes (Éco-Rénovons Paris+), technical advice and feedback. The tone remains sober; the content is aimed at prospects who are looking to understand before they seek information.
