Onesim Naturopath | Specialist practice website

Website of a specialist naturopathy practice - 2024

- The customer

Alina Onesim is a naturopath in the Paris region, specialising in chronic Lyme disease and endometriosis. A former patient herself, she became a naturopath at the end of her own career, and is a member of the Syndicat des Professionnels de la Naturopathie. She has a practice in the Paris region and also offers distance consultations. She speaks French, English, Italian and Romanian.

- The context

Alina's practice operates in a doubly demanding segment. On the one hand, her patients often arrive at the end of a long medical journey, with late diagnoses, unsuccessful treatments and cumulative fatigue. They don't need to be convinced that they are suffering; they need to be taken seriously and to understand what comes next. On the other hand, the natural health sector in France is a cautious field for the visitor, where the distinction between a serious practitioner and a dubious offer requires concrete signals: qualifications, professional affiliations, medical references, verifiable testimonials.

The brief therefore implied two parallel constraints: to clearly communicate a niche speciality (Lyme + endometriosis), and to establish professional credibility without falling into a defensive posture.

- The approach

Four decisions structured the design.

Editorial focus on two diseases. Rather than a generic «naturopath in Paris» site, which would have diluted the speciality in a global offering, the site is built around the two main pathologies. Each has its own in-depth page, its own angle, its own blog articles. Seven often-associated satellite pathologies - chronic fatigue, insomnia, lupus, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, ankylosing spondylitis and septic arthritis - are dealt with in a secondary section that broadens the SEO scope without diluting the main positioning.

An integrated quadrilingual architecture. Alina speaks French, English, Italian and Romanian, and this multilingualism is a real competitive advantage for foreign patients living in France or expatriates seeking treatment in their own language. The site is delivered in four languages, indexed separately by the search engines, with a switch integrated into the navigation. The structure allows a fifth language to be added without redesign.

Three points in the patient journey, five entry points. Rather than a single «book an appointment» button, the site distinguishes between the three stages of the patient journey: the discovery phase (free five-minute call), the first consultation (in the surgery or remotely) and the ongoing follow-up (in the surgery or remotely). Each stage has its own Calendly link. This eliminates the friction of the free form, qualifies the patient before the call, and enables the right time slot to be calibrated according to the type of exchange.

A credibility signalled by the evidence. The site incorporates elements that defuse the visitor's legitimate scepticism: Alina's professional photograph, logo and link to the Syndicat des Professionnels de la Naturopathie, public references (interview in Pure Santé magazine), patient testimonials, integration of Google reviews. No one-upmanship, no promises of cures - sobriety is itself a signal.

- Making it happen

The site is built on WordPress, with around thirty pages available in four language versions. Each pathology page can host dedicated blog posts without structural modification. The addition of a new pathology is treated as an internal mini-site, with its own meshing.

Reservations are made via five separate Calendly links; the contact form is retained as an alternative entry point for specific requests. An e-mail capture feeds a logic of long-term relationship with visitors who are not ready to consult immediately.

The visual identity is based on a photograph of Alina in her practice and on soothing visuals - plants, nature, interiors - that correspond to the expected register without falling into the cliché «naturopathy photo stock».
